1985 the profession of sign manufacturer / installer is legally protected
in Belgium. That means that a company must comply with a series of
requirements in order to be allowed to enter the profession. Belgian
Sign is the organization of the associated members. B.S.O. participates
in ESF, the European Sign Federation,
and ISA, the International Sign
Association. |

| There are monthly board meetings in Brussels and there is an Annual General Assembly. |
| The organization supports the profession and checks its correct implementation. More support is offered to the members. |

information for architects on technical feasability and aesthetics of various types of signs |

participation in European and international working groups to establish new Standards for the safe construction and installation of neon-signs and their accessories, such as EN50107 |
